From the electric start to the emotional finish — here's where to be on race day.
The beating heart of race day — the Event Village, start chutes, and finish line are all here at Seafront Oval. Arrive early to soak up the atmosphere as runners warm up, then stay for the emotional finish line celebrations.
The vibrant heart of Torquay — a lively strip of cafés, restaurants and a gorgeous grassed beachfront foreshore. Grab a coffee and settle in for a double viewing as runners pass on both the outward and return legs.
A long, open beachfront park with excellent sightlines in both directions along the Esplanade. Shaded picnic tables, amenities, and easy parking make this ideal for families wanting to cheer runners at the 1km and 8km marks.
A beloved Hervey Bay waterfront park that will become a lively cheering hub on race day. The open grassy space gives excellent views and plenty of room to spread out. Easy street parking on surrounding side roads.
A quieter but rewarding vantage point as runners approach the halfway mark. Watch the lead runners fly toward Point Vernon, then cheer the full field as they begin their return journey back east along the Esplanade.
Catch runners as they head toward their final turnaround point, and again as they head back toward the finish line. A serene beachside setting with views across to K'gari (Fraser Island) on clear winter mornings.
Don't miss the emotion as runners cross the finish line in front of the packed Event Village. Medals, music, food and pure joy — this is the moment they've been training months for.
