If you have a set time in mind that you would like to achieve, then our Pace Runners will play a huge part in your race!
Pace Runners can be identified by high visibility yellow PACER singlets and they will have helium balloons attached to them with the pace time and distance clearly marked on it.
We have pace runners for the 21.1km and 10km events.

Make sure your start zone that you enter when registering reflects your goal pace time and be sure to assemble at the start line with your pacer who will encourage you throughout the race. Check out the Start Zones page to familiarise yourself with where to start your race depending on your goal pace.

Pace Runners play a huge part in our event and the participant's experience throughout the race.
Being a Pace Runner is a hugely rewarding experience where you will be part of some really memorable moments for our participants.
To ensure you perform the task successfully, you need to be certain that you can comfortably run at the pace you apply for while also providing the participants with encouragement for their race to help them achieve their goals. You must be able to complete the distance within 30 seconds of your agreed finishing time.
All Pace Runners will receive a PACER singlet and free entry into their pace distance event.
