The official Hervey Bay Half Marathon Festival precinct is located along the scenic Esplanade at Seafront Oval, Pialba. This is your hub for all event activities including race bib collection, baggage storage, toilets, and event information.
Please note that road closures will be in place during the event. We recommend arriving early, allowing time to park nearby and walk to the precinct.
If you’re staying locally, getting to the start line is simple. The event precinct is within walking or cycling distance from most Esplanade accommodation. Access to the start area will be via Seafront Oval, Pialba.
Road closures will be in effect on sections of the Esplanade and surrounding streets from early Sunday morning, please check the official road closure map before travelling.

There is plenty of free and paid parking available within walking distance of the event precinct.
Please avoid parking on closed roads or residential driveways.

Taxis and rideshare services are also readily available.

Staying close by? Why not cycle or walk to the event and make it part of your warmup! Bike racks are available along the Esplanade near Seafront Oval. Please bring your own lock and avoid leaving valuables unattended.
