Welcome Message – Hervey Bay Half Marathon
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Hervey Bay Half Marathon, held here on the beautiful Fraser Coast. This is the first time our region has hosted this prestigious event, and we are excited to showcase everything that makes the Fraser Coast such a special place to live, visit and compete.
From the wide, golden beaches of Hervey Bay to the heritage streets of Maryborough, our region offers an unrivalled blend of natural beauty, vibrant communities and genuine hospitality. With the Great Sandy Strait and K’gari (Fraser Island) on our doorstep, the Fraser Coast is already recognised as a world-class destination – and now we are proud to add world-class running to that list.
